Authorities Suspect Foul Play in Disappearance of Maryland Mother of Two

Waldorf, Maryland- The Charles County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the disappearance of 23-year-old Lesbia Mileth Ramirez Guerra, a mother of two who was last seen on March 31 at her residence on Adams Court. Authorities say they suspect foul play and have taken her boyfriend, who is also the father of her children, into federal custody on immigration-related charges.

According to law enforcement spokesperson Diane Richardson, surveillance evidence revealed that the family’s red Toyota 4Runner was moved from the front of the residence to the back on April 1 in a manner investigators described as awkward and suspicious. The vehicle was later seen leaving the property entirely. Given the layout of the home, this activity has been labeled as highly unusual.

Guerra’s boyfriend reported her missing on April 2. During the investigation, detectives executed a search warrant at the home and discovered counterfeit immigration documents in his possession. After confirming with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement that the documents were fraudulent, ICE agents detained the man for being in the United States without proper documentation. While he has not been officially named a suspect, he is considered a person of interest.

Authorities are asking the public to review any surveillance or trail camera footage from March 31 through April 2. Investigators are particularly interested in isolated or rural areas where the red Toyota 4Runner may have been seen.

Friends and family remain deeply concerned for Guerra’s safety. One friend, identified only as Wilson, expressed emotional concern during an interview, saying, “It’s severe what’s happening. We’re all hoping she’s found alive and well. The kids aren’t at fault for anything, and they’re suffering right now. She was like a sister to me. She was a good person.”

Guerra lived in the home with several individuals, including her children and the detained boyfriend. Her disappearance has shaken the community, and officials are working closely with federal and local agencies to gather evidence and locate her.
