Detroit, Michigan ā€“ A 31-year-old Detroit man, Desuan Travon Ross, has been charged with first-degree murder and felony firearm after allegedly shooting and killing his girlfriend, Eboni Robinson, 29, on Valentine's Day.

On the morning of Friday, February 14, police responded to reports of a shooting at a home on the 17400 block of Washburn just before 9 a.m. When officers arrived, they found Robinson's vehicle crashed into the front porch of a nearby house. The victim was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds and was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe that Ross and Robinson were arguing inside the car when Ross exited the vehicle and fired a gun into it multiple times. Following the crash, Ross allegedly fired a rifle at the vehicle multiple times, further intensifying the violence.

Ross was arraigned on Sunday and remains in custody, awaiting his court dates later this month and next. As the investigation continues, authorities are working to uncover more details about the circumstances that led to this tragic and violent act.
