Three brothers from Miami Beach, renowned for their success in the luxury real estate industry from Miami to Manhattan, were arrested on Wednesday morning by FBI agents and local police. The brothers, Oren and Alon Alexander (37) and their older sibling Tal Alexander (38), face multiple state and federal charges related to sex trafficking and rape. These arrests follow the filing of several civil lawsuits in New York earlier this year, which include shocking allegations of drugging and raping women.

The Alexander brothers were taken from their homes in Miami Beach by investigators from the FBI and the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. Tal Alexander appeared in a Miami federal court, dressed in blue jeans and a long-sleeve shirt, where he was handcuffed at both his wrists and ankles. Prosecutors argue that Tal is a flight risk and a danger to the community, requesting he remain in detention. His detention hearing is scheduled for Friday. Meanwhile, Oren and Alon Alexander remain in state custody, with their court appearance set for Thursday.

The charges stem from incidents between 2010 and 2021, when the brothers allegedly trafficked and sexually assaulted multiple women in Manhattan, Miami, and other locations. According to the federal indictment, the Alexander brothers utilized their wealth and influence in the real estate market to lure women using promises of luxury experiences and international travel. They also hosted events where other men were invited to participate in the assault of women.

Authorities allege that the brothers often drugged their victims, rendering them incapable of fighting back or escaping. In Miami, Oren Alexander faces charges related to three separate rapes, including incidents from 2016 and 2017. Additional charges are expected, with the number of alleged victims continuing to rise. Victims have come forward from across Miami and New York, some recounting assaults dating back decades.

Despite their fall from grace, the Alexander brothers previously built a reputation as high-profile players in the luxury real estate market, achieving record-breaking sales in Miami, Aspen, and Manhattan. Their lavish lifestyle, often captured on social media, included frequent trips to international hotspots and appearances at Art Basel events.

As the investigation unfolds, the Alexander brothers face a grim future, with their previous success in real estate overshadowed by these serious criminal charges. Their high-profile arrests mark the latest chapter in a scandal that has shaken the real estate industry and left many questioning the true cost of their fame.
